Full Terms and Conditions of Booking and Training
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and training courses provided by All Ride Motorcycle Training and Able Motorcycle Training, hereafter referred to as “All Ride / Able”.
By booking and paying for any course, the student confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Important Information – Please Read Carefully
What You Must Bring
Driving Licence
For all CBT courses, students must bring:
* A valid UK provisional or full driving licence
* If using an older paper licence, photographic ID must also be provided (passport preferred)
Failure to provide the correct documents will result in refusal of training and loss of course fees.
Foreign or EU licences are not accepted for training or testing.

Module 1 & Module 2 Motorcycle Tests
Students attending Module 1 or Module 2 tests must bring:
* UK driving licence
* Valid CBT certificate (DL196)
* Theory test pass certificate
* Valid photographic ID
The DVSA only accepts original, complete, and legible UK licence documentation.
Failure to provide the required documentation will result in the test being cancelled and all fees forfeited.

Licence Information for Full Licence Courses
For all courses other than CBT, students must provide a clear photograph of their driving licence when booking.
This is required to arrange Module 1 and Module 2 motorcycle tests with the DVSA.
Any losses resulting from late or incorrect licence information will be the responsibility of the student.

Clothing Requirements
Students must wear suitable protective clothing at all times.
Minimum accepted clothing:
* Motorcycle jacket or heavy denim jacket
* Motorcycle gloves
* Heavy denim jeans or motorcycle trousers
* Sturdy boots covering the ankle
The following are NOT permitted:
* Trainers
* Tracksuits
* Shorts
* Sandals
* Ripped jeans
* Puffa jackets
A limited range of helmets, jackets, and gloves are available to borrow free of charge, subject to availability.
If a student arrives wearing unsuitable clothing and suitable replacement equipment is unavailable or declined, training will not proceed and fees may be lost.

Arrival Times
Students must arrive in sufficient time for training to begin promptly.
* CBT students arriving after 9:00am may be refused training and lose all fees.
* Failure to attend or late arrival may result in loss of training or test fees.

Fitness to Ride
Students must ensure they are medically and physically fit to participate in motorcycle training.
Students must not:
* Be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
* Be excessively tired
* Be suffering from illness or injury affecting safe riding
Any relevant medical, physical, learning, or mental health condition that may affect training must be disclosed in writing before the course begins.

Use of Student-Owned Motorcycles
If using a personal motorcycle or moped, students must ensure the vehicle:
* Is road legal
* Has valid insurance
* Has a valid MOT (where applicable)
* Displays legal L-plates where required
* Is taxed and mechanically sound
For practical tests, it is the student’s responsibility to ensure their motorcycle is suitable for DVSA Module 1 and Module 2 testing requirements.

General Terms and Conditions
1. Payments
* All course fees must be paid in advance.
* Payments are accepted by bank transfer only.
* Deposits are non-refundable.

2. Accuracy of Booking Information
All bookings are made based on the information supplied by the student.
The student is responsible for ensuring all details provided are accurate, including licence entitlement and riding experience.

3. Course Rearrangement
All Ride / Able reserves the right to rearrange or reschedule courses due to:
* Mechanical breakdown
* Staff illness
* Weather conditions
* Government restrictions
* Events beyond reasonable control
No refunds will be issued in these circumstances, but courses will be rebooked at no additional charge.

4. Student-to-Instructor Ratios
Training ratios will comply with DVSA regulations at all times.
All Ride / Able reserves the right to determine:
* Appropriate motorcycle size
* Student suitability
* Group arrangements
* Training progression

Insurance & Damage
5. Insurance Cover
During training, motorcycles supplied by All Ride / Able are covered by fully comprehensive insurance.
Personal accident insurance is not included.

6. Insurance Excess Waiver
Insurance claims carry an excess of £250.
Students may purchase an Excess Waiver for £25 before training begins.
Without the waiver, students are liable for damage costs up to the insurance excess amount.
The waiver does not cover:
* Lost keys
* Damaged keys
* Radio/headset damage

7. Damage to Equipment
Students are responsible for any damage caused to:
* Training motorcycles
* Keys and locks
* Radios and headsets
* Loaned riding equipment
Replacement costs may be charged and must be paid within 7 working days.

Cancellations & Refunds
8. Student Cancellation
More than 8 working days’ notice
Students cancelling with at least 8 working days’ written notice may receive a refund less:
* Deposits
* Administration fees
* Any applicable cancellation charges
Less than 8 working days’ notice
No refund will normally be issued unless the course place can be filled.

9. Administration Charges
All refunds are subject to a £60 administration fee.
All deposits are strictly non-refundable.

10. Full Licence Courses
Once training has commenced on a full licence course (including CBT or first training day), no refunds will be issued for unused training.

CBT Courses
Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) is a DVSA-regulated training course.
Most students complete the course in one day; however, additional training may be required where a safe riding standard has not yet been achieved.
Additional training sessions are charged at a reduced rate.
Students must remain available until approximately 5:30pm, although courses may finish earlier.
Leaving early may result in:
* Non-completion of CBT
* No DL196 certificate being issued
* Additional training fees

DVSA Motorcycle Tests
11. Test Booking Conditions
If a Module 2 test is booked within 3 working days of a Module 1 test, All Ride / Able accepts no responsibility for loss of Module 2 fees if:
* Module 1 is failed
* Module 1 is not taken
* The student withdraws

12. Student Suitability
All Ride / Able reserves the right to withdraw a student from training or testing where instructors believe continuing would be unsafe.
No refunds will be issued for associated training or test fees.

Weather Conditions
Motorcycle training operates in most weather conditions.
If All Ride / Able or the DVSA cancels training due to severe weather:
* Training/tests will be rebooked free of charge
* Refunds will not be issued
If a student chooses not to attend due to weather concerns, fees will be forfeited.

Conduct & Behaviour
Abusive, threatening, or disruptive behaviour toward:
* Instructors
* DVSA staff
* Other students
will not be tolerated.
Training will be terminated immediately without refund, and incidents may be reported to the police where appropriate.

Liability
Motorcycling involves an inherent level of risk.
Students participate in training at their own risk and accept responsibility for riding safely at all times.
All Ride / Able accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury, or expense except where caused directly by negligence.

Communication Responsibilities
Students must ensure All Ride / Able has current:
* Address
* Email address
* Telephone/mobile number
Any losses arising from failure to provide updated contact details remain the responsibility of the student.

Students Aged 16–17
Parents or guardians of students under 18 must read and accept these Terms and Conditions.
Students aged 16–17 may be left unsupervised in the classroom during certain CBT elements for up to two hours.
Any concerns must be raised in writing at least 7 days before training.

Acceptance of Terms
By paying for and booking a course, the student confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in full.
Students may also be required to sign additional disclaimers on arrival before training begins.

Course Cancellations by Students
More Than 8 Working Days’ Notice
If you cancel your booking with at least 8 working days’ written notice, you may receive a refund less:
* Any non-refundable deposit
* Administration charges
* Any DVSA fees already paid

Less Than 8 Working Days’ Notice
Cancellations made with fewer than 8 working days’ notice are non-refundable.
Exceptions may be considered at our discretion where the course place can be filled.

Approved refunds are subject to a £60 administration fee.

Full Licence Courses
Once training has started on any full licence course, including CBT or first training sessions, no refund will be issued for unused training days or tests.

Non-Attendance & Lateness
Failure to attend or arriving too late for training may result in:
* Loss of course fees
* Loss of DVSA test fees
* Cancellation of training
CBT students arriving after 9:00am may be refused training without refund.

Weather Conditions
Training operates in most weather conditions.
If training or tests are cancelled by:
* All Ride / Able, or
* The DVSA
due to severe weather, courses/tests will be rebooked free of charge.
Refunds are not available in these circumstances.
If a student chooses not to attend due to weather concerns, fees will be forfeited.

DVSA Test Cancellations
DVSA test cancellations are outside our control.
Where applicable, we will assist students with DVSA Out of Pocket Expense claims.

Mechanical Issues & Exceptional Circumstances
Where training is cancelled due to:
* Mechanical breakdown
* Instructor illness
* Government restrictions
* Other circumstances beyond our control
we will rearrange the course at the earliest available opportunity.
